Margaux Salcedo was a food critic and columnist of the Philippine Daily Inquirer for 20 years. The first Filipino member of the jury of the World's 50 Best Restaurants and Asia's 50 Best Restaurants Awards and Country Editor for the Miele Guide, she authored the column First Class in the Business Section of the Philippine Daily Inquirer from 2014 to 2024 before retiring the column to focus on her work as Undersecretary in the Republic of the Philippines.
